The company is divided into 6 different services:

New houses
Involves building from the ground including earthmoving and structural tests if needed. This includes everything: from water and electricity, municipal connections up to the stage where you have your key and occupation certificate in hand.

Renovations
This includes the redo of bathrooms and kitchens, building of small alterations such as expanding the garage or outer buildings into granny flats or adding a new room to an existing house. Also replacement of roof structures, fascia boards and gutters (pvc plastic and aluminium).

Finishes
Finishes include flooring ( such as tiling, carpets, laminated, solid wood and colour screeting), painting (roofs, exterior, interior, gutters and fascia boards, door and window frames), cupboards (kitchen, garage, bedrooms, bathrooms, studies and cellars), steelwork (burglar bars, security gates, hand rails and trellis), solid woodwork (staircases and hand rails), paving (bricks, cobble stone and garden blocks), ceilings (rhino board skimmed, reeded and nortipine), cornish (rhino and polystyrene), skirtings (meranti and pine wood), lights, bathroom and kitchen accessories (gass intallations), fireplaces and braais.

Maintenance
All maintenance work is done through a co-company FdT CC. This includes re-painting, repairing, insurance claims, plumbing, electricity and anything regarding maintaining a home. No job is too small.

Landscaping
Hard – involves brickwork, walls, pillars, pathways, patios, fish ponds and any other cement work in the garden.
Soft – includes flower beds, plants, trees and grass
Irrigation – designing and planning followed by installation

All finishes are discussed with clients on the base of PC amounts. Once the contractor, architect and the owner is satisfied, the house is handed over. A three months retention period then starts. During this time the client can draw up a snag list which will be resolved on the account of the contractor.

Roofing
Since the beginning of 2009 a separate service was specialized within Chesed for quality worksmanship and materials of carpenting for trusses coverd by roofs tiles, chromadek sheeting, nutec tiles with fascias and gutters as well as cladding. An A19 engineer certificate is included to ensure the completion of the roof. This service includes the carpenting of new roofs on a newly build houses, re-roofs of old buildings, flat roofs, different degrees of trusses and waterproofing with a 1year warrantee of gables, chimneys and flashings. This is an all-in-one roof construction from wall plate to ridging.
